With this crochet pattern, you can crochet a snowman, a Santa Claus, an angel, and a Christmas tree. Without hats, the figures are about 12.5 cm tall and can be crocheted relatively quickly. This makes them perfect as gifts for the Christmas and Advent season. Thanks to the many pictures and explanations of each step, even beginners can follow the pattern. These figures are also a great way to use up leftover yarn.

You can find all the information about the materials and yarn needed, as well as the pattern, here: Christmas Set – Snowman – Santa Claus – Angel – Christmas Tree

Here I have for you one somewhat more elaborate snowman and one that can be made very quickly. Both are worth showing off.

This snowman was crocheted with Catania 125 m/ 50 g and a 2.5 crochet hook. To make him at a size of approx. 27 cm with the base, you do need a little patience and skill, but the work is worth it. With a little patience, beginners can also work well from this pattern, since I explain everything step by step and have included many pictures.

Material
  • Yarn in white, black, red/orange, light blue, and dark green
  • Stuffing
  • Crochet hooks 2.5 / 3.0 and 4.0
  • 5 safety eyes approx. 10 mm
  • Sewing needle
Here is the pattern

Crochet pattern Snowman Willy

This snowman is a bit quicker to crochet and absolutely suitable for beginners. I made him quite simply and described everything in great detail.

Materials
  • King Cotton by Gründl (hook size 6-7 in white)
  • Catania (hook size 2.5-3.5 in mint, blue, orange, and a little black)
  • Crochet hook 4.0 / 3.5 / 2.5
  • Stuffing
  • Safety eyes with blue glitter 12 mm
  • Sewing needle
And here is the pattern

Have fun, yours Dorigurumi

A snowman as a shelf sitter—something completely different. The crochet pattern is easy to follow; what you should know how to do are chain stitches, single crochet, and crocheting stitches together.

Here is a whole parade of snowmen:
The two potholders are the perfect winter decoration for your kitchen and will instantly create a cheerful mood. They are very easy to crochet. You need 120 g of white cotton and remnants in black, orange, pink, and light blue. You can find the pattern here

Or how about a snowman egg cozy? If you choose this pattern, you’ll also get the pattern for a Santa Claus and an angel with it:

And the snowman finger puppet is really quick to make. Here, too, you’ll also get the pattern for 2 more finger puppets (Santa Claus, moose) with it. You can crochet the snowman from fluffy yarn, as shown in the picture, or from cotton. In any case, you only need a few bits of leftover yarn! The pattern is here

I have a whole family of snowmen here—as a window picture!

The picture is made from photo cardstock and translucent paper. Since the design is about 66 cm wide, it requires a window of corresponding width. The design is cut out directly from the template, so that once you’ve glued the pieces together (it’s very easy—everything is clearly numbered), you can start cutting right away without having to first laboriously trace the design onto the photo cardstock. This picture is easy to make and won’t pose any problems even for beginners who have already worked with a craft knife.

Here’s another snowman I made—this time on a gift bag:

The bag is made of photo cardstock and measures approximately 19 x 18 x 10 cm. Since the snowman consists of several parts, it takes a little time to assemble, but otherwise the bag is quick and easy to make.
