"Notify me when there’s a reply" can’t be turned off

Dear cp Team,
Either I’m doing something wrong, or it’s not working: When I uncheck “Notify me when there’s a reply” for forum threads where I’ve posted, I still keep getting notifications. But I
don’t want those notifications, especially for unimportant topics like birthday threads. I hardly post anything anymore because my inbox is constantly full.

Also, I can’t stay logged in on the site; I get automatically logged out after about 30 minutes.

Hello Steffi,

you can unsubscribe from these threads again in your forum settings. If you click the gear icon and then go to Settings and Forum Settings, you can change your signature and, below that, also unsubscribe from the threads.
However, I can’t tell you how to stay logged in. Maybe it’s a setting in your browser?

I’m having the same problem with logging in—ever since I changed my password recently. It wasn’t an issue before that… So I’d also be interested in a solution.

That checkbox applies to the latest reply. I think there’s still room for improvement there.

The issue with being logged out is very serious. We’ll address that immediately. Thanks for letting us know.
