Dear crocheters—beginners and advanced alike—
what projects are you working on right now? Are you having any trouble? What have you been successful at?

Without knowing the pattern, no one will be able to help you. Just wait and see whether the author gets back to you, and if so, please post there in your thread, okay? https://www.crazypatterns.net/de/forum/topic/23939/anfaengerfrage
My problem right now is a lack of time.
Things are going to get hectic at work starting in October, and the kids are getting back into the swing of things at school. At home, the garden needs to be finished up.
So I’m keeping my crocheting to a minimum. Nothing mentally taxing, just quick projects. Because during times like this, my patience is in short supply. So I’m making Christmas gifts. It’s always easy for me—everyone gets the same thing, just in different colors.
I got into this habit years ago when I used to make something different for everyone, and then they all wanted the same thing (I thought that only happened with my kids, but no—adults are just the same).
The quick little projects I always make for my kids have turned out really well: butterflies, flowers, bats. They look really great and can be used for all sorts of things.
Oh, I just remembered one more challenge. I still need to finish writing two patterns. But I just can’t bring myself to do it. Well, I’ll set myself a goal: I’ll finish them this week.
I’m really struggling to crochet my sneaker slippers right now. I keep having to rip out my work because I’ve lost count or didn’t read the pattern carefully… but that’s not the pattern’s fault—it’s just my impatience right now. We’ve just finished winterizing the garden—trimming the hedge and so on. But inside the house, I feel like I’m on a merry-go-round right now; no sooner do I think everything’s done than I have to start all over again… so I don’t have much time for crafts at the moment.
Gut gelungen: Ich habe mein erstes "Virustuch" gehäkelt...
I’m crocheting away—I have lots of projects in mind and requests coming in. But I don’t feel like writing right now. The patterns are piling up again.
Oh man. I’ll never get them all done.
My work table has turned into a total mess because I’m currently working on Christmas gifts for the “younger” kids in the family... Thanks to Diba26, I get to make 8 dragon bats right now ☺. And since I always do the sewing at the very end, you can probably imagine what it looks like. Next to that are three huge balls of yarn, whispering to me: “Go ahead!” But I’ll take those with me to speech therapy when the little one has his session.... Bottom line: I think I’m going to request that Christmas Eve be rescheduled.
