Dear users, dear authors,
summer is over—no more swimsuits and sunshine; soon there will be snowflakes and snowmen.
Of course, you’ll need the right clothes for that. In this thread, you’ll find patterns for warm winter clothes for the whole family.

@Authors
please post patterns that fit this theme. Don’t forget to include a link, an image, and text with the necessary information about the difficulty level, technique, materials, and what makes the pattern special. Good luck!

This hat is cozy and warm thanks to the yarn used. The pattern keeps it from looking boring, even though it’s a solid color. The flower also gives it a lovely accessory. The big advantage is that it pairs so well with jackets and winter coats.

Thanks to the many pictures for the individual steps, the pattern is also easy for beginners to follow.

You can find all further information about the yarn, other materials, and the pattern here: to the pattern

You’ll find warm winter clothing in plus sizes for women (48/50–58/60) in my shop. Among them is this chic, modern one-size-fits-all jacket that even ambitious beginners can master.

It’s worked entirely using knit and purl stitches. The pattern includes instructions for both a longer and a shorter version. The longer version requires 1,600 m of yarn for needle sizes 7–8.

The elegant twin set is especially practical. In transitional weather, it replaces a jacket, because even with the sleeveless shirt underneath, you’re always perfectly dressed.

For the one-size shirt, 3 different novelty yarns for needle size 7–8 were used, with a total yardage of 830 m. The cuffs and the sleeveless shirt were made from pure virgin wool for needle size 3.5–4—a total yardage of 1600 m is required.

Now that it’s getting cold, the little ones need warm feet again. My little booties knit up quickly, and there’s a matching hat to go with them. This pattern is very easy to knit—the secret is "slipped stitches."

For the hat, I used Schachenmayr Punto: 90 m / 50 g, needle size 4, 50 g each of gray and blue (this amount was enough for the hat and booties)
For the booties alone, leftover yarn is sufficient. Depending on the yarn yardage, the booties will measure between 9 and 11 cm.

The patterns for the knitted shoes , the hat , and the knitted/crocheted booties are available in my shop. Just stop by and take a look.

This gorgeous set of a scarf and matching hat defies even the heaviest snow and the coldest winter, reliably keeping the wearer warm. Thanks to the buttons and the pattern that looks the same on both the front and back, the scarf is very versatile.

The cable pattern is repeated on the hat, creating a special eye-catching detail.

The hat is knitted in rows; a provisional cast-on is required, and the stitches are sewn together with the last row using the Kitchener stitch, so no seam will be visible.
This set can be easily recreated using any cozy winter yarn, from sock weight to DK and bulky.

You’ll need:

  • 200 to 300 grams of yarn for the scarf and about 100 grams of yarn for the hat
  • Knitting needles (I recommend choosing a needle size one size larger than indicated on the yarn label)
  • 4 buttons
  • Kitchen scale or other digital precision scale
  • Stitch markers
  • Tape measure
  • Crochet hook
  • some leftover yarn for the provisional cast-on
This pattern is well-suited for both ambitious beginners and experienced knitters. It is described in detail and includes comprehensive charts and a written version.

The difficulty level is easy to medium. Basic skills are required (knit stitch, purl stitch, yarn overs, knitting stitches together, knitting stitches from the strand between stitches). The provisional cast-on needed for the hat is explained in the pattern.
You’re essentially getting two patterns for the price of one. ☺

Little Raccoon Crochet Set

With this set, your little sunshine will be an absolute eye-catcher even on cold days, and those little ears are guaranteed not to get cold. With this pattern, you’ll be able to crochet this wonderful set independently and quickly. The making process is explained in detail, and many photos clearly show you the individual steps. The pattern is 15 pages long and richly illustrated, making it suitable for crochet beginners as well. You need to know the following: single crochet, slip stitch, half double crochet, magic ring, crab stitches, double crochet. I crocheted my set with polyacrylic yarn, 50 g-137 m. The amount specified in the pattern is enough for the small sizes; if you want to crochet larger sizes, from age 2 and up, you’ll need correspondingly more yarn, approx. 100 g. Of course, you can use other yarn; only the information in the table needs to be followed. For the neckerchief, you get a pattern in one size for babies, but it explains how you can make the scarf larger too. You can also make the hat in several sizes.

Since it’s fall and it’s getting noticeably colder outside, I’ve crocheted another new beanie. Of course, there’s a pattern for this one, too. I especially like beanies with a brim, since
it keeps the ears nice and warm and still lets you give free rein to your creativity with the top part of the hat. So this time, I came up with a slightly airier pattern, but it still keeps your head nice and warm.

This pattern includes lots of photos of the individual steps, so even beginners will get along with it very well. Plus, with the ebook, you can crochet the hat in all sizes (except baby sizes).

You can find the pattern here: to the pattern Girls No12

A beautiful, large, and cozy knitted shawl for winter—that's "Mellon".
Mellon is the Elvish word for friend, and like a friend it accompanies you through the cold days and keeps you warm.

You can use your favorite yarn for the shawl, completely individually—whether sock yarn, cotton, or leftover yarn—you'll need about 1200 - 1500 m of yarn.
You'll also need several circular knitting needles in the same size or a cable system like KnitPro.

The finished shawl measures approx. 220 x 70 cm after blocking.

The shawl is very easy to knit, as almost only knit stitches are used. The pattern is written in an easy-to-understand way and includes many pictures of the individual steps.

Get the knitting pattern now and start today! Winter is approaching fast. ☺

This great loop scarf keeps your neck wonderfully warm. The fun bubbles give the cowl a unique touch!
The loop scarf is approx. 24 cm wide and approx. 130 cm long. However, you can easily make the scarf longer by adding one pattern repeat. You’ll need: Malabrigo Rios (100% merino / 192 meters per skein)  – 2 skeins, but you can use any other yarn for it. Knitting needles: 4.5 mm knitting needles. Other supplies: crochet hook and a longer piece of yarn for the provisional cast-on, yarn needle. Gauge: 18½ stitches and 27 rows over 10 cm in stockinette stitch, after washing. Gauge is not
crucial for this project. However, a different gauge will change
the measurements and the amount of yarn needed.

Dear crafting friends,

yes, it’s getting cold outside—so you definitely need something really cozy, warm, and comfortable. I have just the thing for you: a beautiful, easy-to-knit poncho. You’ll need about 700 g of “Olympia” by Lana Grossa and a long circular needle, size 8 (universal sizes S through XL). This pattern is also well-suited for beginners, because we’ll only be knitting knit and purl stitches, and I’ll show and explain everything in great detail.

I hope you enjoy this pattern .

Would you like to wear something different from the traditional winter hat for a change? Something unusual?
Something that can also be paired with different clothing styles?
Then this winter hat is just right for you!
Plus, it’s wonderfully easy to make, as long as you know the basics of crochet. Here’s what you need to know: chain stitch, single crochet, slip stitch, half double crochet, increasing stitches, crocheting into the back loop, crocheting in rounds
The pattern is explained in detail round by round, and the bow can be made exactly with the help of photo instructions.
You’ll need a size 6.0 mm crochet hook, a yarn needle, pins if needed, 100 g of the main color and 50 g of the contrasting color (original
"Tempo" by G-B-Wolle in black and purple; yardage 52 m/50 g).
    Have fun crocheting it ;-)

This hat gives you three garments in ONE.
    1. A hat that is closed with a cord. The drawstring is not permanently attached to the knitted piece, so you can be completely flexible. The cord is simply wrapped around the end of the hat and knotted. This way you can also let long hair or a ponytail stick out of the hat.
    2. Cowl or neck warmer. The knitted piece can also be worn as a cowl. With a cord or without a cord, just as you like
    3. Scoodie Both the head and the neck are covered

The knitting patterns are also fun to knit, and you definitely won’t get bored

Warm hands on cool days — and beautifully wrapped up too

you’ll definitely manage that with this pattern for wrist warmers

the wrist warmers are knitted and finished with a beautiful crocheted lace edging

A cozy, warm cowl for a winter walk – that's Sherwood Forest. The pattern includes two versions: To make sure nothing slips and drafts don't stand a chance, it can be knitted to fit snugly around the neck like a turtleneck. Or it can be knitted a little wider for a more casual look. Of course, there are no limits when it comes to choosing colors.

It is knitted with the classic yarn Lana Grossa ALTA MODA ALPACA (90% alpaca, 5% virgin wool, 5% polyamide, yardage 140 m/50 g), 1.5 skeins in MAIN COLOR (dark green here), 1 skein in ACCENT COLOR (light green here). This wonderfully soft and extremely warm yarn comes back every season in fantastic new colors!

    Here's the pattern: Click!

Hello, dear crochet fans, this crochet set (m/f) in fashionable gray  consists of a beanie and a Möbius scarf collar/loop. The PDF pattern is written for head circumferences of 52  cm – 60 cm and includes both – hat and loop (loop in one size). It is
illustrated, but assumes general crochet knowledge (chain stitches, single
crochet stitches, double crochet, crocheting in rounds, slip stitches, increases and decreases)
. The special stitches are illustrated and described. I would describe the
difficulty level as “intermediate.” For the hat, 150 g is required, and for the loop 100 g of a yarn with 50 g – 75 m yardage. Unlike the hook size on the yarn label,
this is crocheted with crochet hook sizes 8.0 and 10.0.

Oops - my formatting got messed up earlier - sorry..

For warm feet for big and small, including sock charts:

This is an illustrated sock-knitting course using baby socks  and consists of a total of 4 PDF files:

    • Main PDF pattern
    • PDF handwritten sketches
    • PDF baby sock chart for sizes 15 - 20
    • PDF sock chart for sizes 22 - 47.

Also included is a baby mitten pattern shown in a short version, since parts of the baby sock pattern can be used for it.

Don't be alarmed! It is harder to describe the process than to knit the socks.

    Materials needed:
approx. 15 g 4-ply sock yarn for the baby socks, approx. 10 g 4-ply sock yarn for the baby mittens,
for adult socks up to size 44: 100 g sock yarn; if larger, 150 g is required.
Set of double-pointed needles size 2.5, tape measure, scissors, yarn needle.

The baby socks can also be embroidered, for example, and used in different ways - not just as baby socks - e.g. as "packaging" for cash gifts or sweets, as an
Advent calendar, as a keychain (scaled down proportionally, I developed a preemie pattern) and more.

The finished socks may of course be given as gifts or sold. The usual copyright applies to the patterns.

Wishing you warm feet and lots of wonderful socks!

I have a wonderful, cozy knitting set for winter here for you!

The poncho and the matching hat are knitted flat and in rows, then crocheted together later. The horizontal rib pattern from the poncho is repeated in the hat and creates a very special eye-catcher.

    For both, you’ll need:

    For the poncho

    • approx. 350 grams of MyBoshi “Flow” or another yarn in a similar weight (approx. 900 meters of yarn)
    • knitting needles size 7
    • 2 stitch markers
    • crochet hook size 7
    • scissors
    For the hat

    • approx. 50 grams of MyBoshi “Flow” or another yarn in a similar weight (approx. 125 meters of yarn)
    • knitting needles size 7
    • 2 stitch markers
    • crochet hook size 7
    • scissors
What you get with this set:

    • 14 pages of patterns!
    • written-out pattern for poncho and hat
    • charts for poncho and hat
    • photo tutorial for the horizontal rib pattern
    • schematic drawings for poncho and hat
    • intermediate difficulty level
Here you get 2 knitting patterns for the price of one! ☺
