Brad Pitt is single again (not entirely serious)

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are getting divorced, so naturally issues like custody of their adopted and biological children, as well as the division of their joint assets worth 400 million, are pretty important right now.
But still, Brad Pitt is back on the market.
Would you give up DIY and crafts if you could have Brad Pitt in exchange?

Für Brad Pitt?
Never! :-)))

Niemals! :-D

No, never in a million years!!
I don’t like Brad Pitt... not even for a young Robert Redford :-)

When I met my husband, the first thing I said was: I enjoy doing handicrafts, and I do a lot of them.

No man is worth that sacrifice :-) I’d rather give up smoking first or stop drinking coffee :-(

I agree.
Brad Pitt definitely isn’t one of my dream men. But I wouldn’t give up handicrafts even for him. Never.
My husband would never ask that of me, just as I would never try to talk him out of tinkering with his cars.

There was only one man in my life I gave it up for for a while, and that was because he was a colicky baby and cried nonstop for six months. I didn’t have the energy for anything at all anymore.
As soon as that was over—yes, even that passes—I already had needle and yarn in my hands again.

Pe-Ka,

Well, I had a man like that too—twice, in fact—if those two even count; it was rather involuntary. And like you say: even that passes, and before long the yarn basket was back again, regularly rescued by my clumsy hands :-)

Never for Brad Pitt! I have no idea who crowned him “Mr. Perfect”—he definitely wouldn’t have gotten my vote! I’d rather have Dwayne Johnson, but I already have the best husband at home ;) He accepts my knitting and crocheting addiction and is glad I’m not a shoe or shopping addict—that would be way more expensive in the long run ;)

I find Brad Pitt completely uninteresting. But if it were Hugh Jackman, I’d definitely think about it for 30 seconds ;-)
400 million? I’d be happy with just 4 million ;-)

@Wolligurumi

Hugh Jackman is definitely worth considering :-)

Well, I’d really have to think about it if it were Benedict Cumberbatch. Just his voice alone! *swoon*
Although.... nah, actually, I wouldn’t. ;-))

@Otterthaler Haekelmaus

I’m more into Vin Diesel, though. But Brad Pitt? No way.

I also find Ralph Fiennes really interesting. :-)

@haekeltherapie
Then of course you know *Lost in Austen* too, right? An absolute MUST for every Jane Austen fan :-) I’ve seen it about 47 times ;-)

So I’m not the only one who’s that bad?! That kind of reassures me...

Hmmmm: The blissful feeling of a knitting idea, in exchange for picking up stray socks? NEVER

@Sasha
Do you think Brad Pitt wears socks?
He doesn’t need to. He’s floating above the ground. (Just kidding ;-) )

Probably floats more over parquet and bills - haha -
Wishing you a lovely day.

So, you yarn lovers, that’s that… Brad Pitt is living with me now and walks around the house wearing nothing but a crocheted apron ;-)

Genau. Jaaannnnzzzz wichtig! ;-)))

Just simple double crochet, since no one’s going to notice his apron anyway ;-) Right now, I’ve invited a few friends over, and we’re watching him clean the windows ;-)

Oh, that’s so mean. Can’t you just send him over here? My mom’s been wanting a naked cleaner in an apron and a maid’s cap for years ;)

I’m bumping this thread to the top because I think it’s such a fun discussion ;-)

Nah, I painstakingly taught myself how to crochet using books and videos, so I’m not giving that up for a guy ^^

Brad Pitt isn’t and never has been my type—I prefer more ruggedly handsome men like Oded Fehr in *The Mummy* or Antonio Banderas in *Original Sin*.

For guys like that, I’d definitely put my crocheting aside for a while. And for my husband, too, of course :-D
