Dear users, dear authors,
what are you working on right now? What’s on your crochet hook or knitting needles, what’s keeping your sewing machine busy, and what are your craft scissors working on?
Let me know, and have fun, everyone.
I’m working on a Minion that I’m making on request.
I hate Minions....
And crocheting Minions is boring.
35 rows of 60 stitches each, just going straight ahead... That’s 2,100 stitches all in one go....
I hope the others here are having a better time ;-)
I’m currently working on a cat for my daughter and still have a list in my head that I want to work through (a cardigan, an autumn sweater, two loop scarves, and a scarf with sleeves). I just talked my husband into a new yarn purchase (“—but you already have so much!”)
Now I really need to use up my “old yarn”....
Sorry for the duplicate post... somehow only the first half of the sentence showed up... but the cat is still cute (pattern by Krea_Tina: Vampire Cat (but without the vampire)) and not as boring as a Minion...
Ich arbeite gerade an einem Poncho mit Farbverlaufswolle. Die Anleitung soll bis zum Swiss Wullefestival am 8. Oktober fertig werden. Anschließend gibt es sie dann auch hier.
I’m always working on several projects at once so it doesn’t get boring #, Z,Z, crocheted felt pillows, a weather frog, and the next one will be a lace shawl (I’ve already ordered the yarn); now that it’s getting autumnal, it’s really cozy indoors with some needlework
I’m currently working on an Advent calendar, and I’m slowly starting to lose hope. It’s finally nearing completion, but it just seems to be dragging on forever, and nothing is going as quickly as I’d like. Still, my goal is to finally finish it this weekend and start the upload process by tomorrow evening at the latest.
I’m currently working on two Christmas gift bags that were actually already available in my own shop, but I’m making them all over again: I don’t like the face on one of the bags with Santa’s face anymore, and since I no longer have that bag, I have to make everything from scratch. The other gift bag (in the shape of a Christmas tree, once again :-)) is just way too big, so I’m making a smaller version for CrazyPatterns. And then there are a few Christmas decorations in the works or already underway: tea light holders, decorative ornaments, Christmas tree decorations...
I’m currently working on a new shawl for fall that’s knitted sideways, and I also have a few finished pieces lying around here that I’d like to write patterns for!!
I also basically always crochet several projects at the same time. Because some ideas come while I’m crocheting and have to be started right away, otherwise they’re gone again.
At the moment I’m crocheting an advent calendar, a bag, and soon a Santa Claus (currently just an idea in my head); I’ve also started about 3 projects that are waiting to finally be crocheted further.
Unfortunately, many remain unfinished or, after careful consideration, get unraveled again.
Wishing you all many more very creative hours of knitting, crocheting, sewing, and crafting.
I’m working on a pattern for shoes. I’ve already knitted 5 pairs. Now I’m satisfied. The leg warmers are sitting in the basket, calling out to me—they want to be finished too... Have a wonderful, creative Sunday, everyone!
I’m currently crocheting “Peppa” the pig for a coworker—it’s something she’s been really wanting. I wasn’t familiar with this character at all, so I had to Google it first, but I’m not really a fan of its overall shape.
Actually, I’d really like to crochet something for myself, so I have to hurry up and finish this pig to make someone happy.
Other than that, I’ve got several projects going on—otherwise, things would get boring.
I’m currently crocheting a christening gift for my best friend’s daughter. I’m in the home stretch—just a few little things left to do, like sewing it all together—which is the very last thing on my list of things I enjoy doing.....
And then there’s a turtle for my friend. She just had surgery on her spinal discs, and this is meant to be a little pick-me-up—she loves turtles and says she’s moving just like one right now.
And at some point, I really should start on the Christmas gifts....
I’m currently working on a jacket with a big wolf on the back—a unisex design, so there’s something here for the guys, too.
In my box of unfinished projects, there’s still a poncho that got pushed too far into the summer and is finally asking to be finished. There’s also a sleeveless shirt that’s meant to be part of a twin set, though I still need to make the second piece.
A backpack with an owl still needs to be finished—I’m currently struggling with the straps and I’m still missing that spark of inspiration....
This weekend was knitting-free because my son moved into his student apartment and needed our help over the weekend.
I’m currently working on the Three Wise Men. The figures are finished, and most of the photos are done too—now I just have to type up my notes. Phew ;-)
And after that, it’s time for a little monkey...
For me, the list of UFOs (unfinished objects) ranges from
- A as in “Advent calendar” — time is pressing, but I’ve run out of yarn!
- to E as in “another owl” — luckily that one is already finished; it just needs some nice photos — hopefully next weekend!
- and S as in “shoes” — at least I’ve already worked out the sole
- all the way to U as in “storage baskets” — one autumn-themed and one Christmas-themed, both of which I hope to finish soon
... Can I apply somewhere for a second pair of arms and a few extra hours per day? ;-)
I always have several projects on the go at once—right now, pattern testing takes priority, but after that, a scarf, some bag charms, and a few amigurumi are still waiting to be finished. And I want to write up a pattern in the next few days, too. But before that, I’m sure I’ll have at least one new idea again, and the order will shift once more :-)
I’m currently crocheting hats for my menfolk.
And in between, I’m working on my curtains for the dining room and living room.
I always enjoy browsing Crazypatterns and finding inspiration.
Wishing you continued success and lots of fun.
