Note on Blog Posts Eligible for Compensation

Hello everyone,

A quick, general note about compensation for blog posts:

We only approve posts for compensation if the actual pattern is the main focus. Posts that consist mostly of an intro, outro, and filler text / AI text, and in which the substance—e.g., the specific pattern—gets lost, will not be approved.

This means:

• The pattern itself should make up the largest part of the post.
• Please keep the introduction and conclusion brief.
• Please avoid repetitions and general paragraphs without added content value.

Specifically:

• 1.1 clearly structured, to the point, directly relevant information
• 2.1 genuine added value / practical
• 2.8 no repetitions
• 1.2 / 3.1 Posts that do not meet the quality requirements will not be compensated and may be rejected.

Two more points to add:

• For some posts, the review process may take a little longer. We ask for a bit of patience here.
• We’re currently working on an automated review process. In future, this should make it immediately clear which posts can be paid and in what amount. The preliminary review is carried out using AI at the blog author’s request.

Are there any topics that are completely off-limits?

I’m thinking about making a hexagon jacket, with tips for narrower sleeves and extra length to give it a coat-like silhouette.

But since this information is actually available everywhere online, it’s possible that CRAZYPATTERNS isn’t interested in it. Could I get some information about that beforehand, please?

The search didn’t show anything for “hexagon,” but I’m not sure if I can trust that.
