Happy Weekend / Needle Threading Day on Saturday

Dear community,

I wish you a wonderful weekend. Saturday is the annual Needle Threading Day. On this day, we celebrate the patience, precision, and dexterity needed to get a thread through the tiny eye of a sewing needle. Well then, have fun celebrating and crafting.

There sure are all kinds of days out there.😉

With some needles, threading is easy, while with others it’s a real challenge.

A few years ago, I bought a sewing machine with a threader. It’s really very handy. But unfortunately, I broke it off during a frantic moment (you really shouldn’t be in a rush when using a sewing machine)...

When I inquired about how much a repair would cost (€100), I politely declined and am now threading by hand again. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I hope you have a wonderful rest of your Sunday. I got back from vacation last night and am spending today sorting through the dirty laundry. It was a tour of Scandinavia—I started in Copenhagen and came back from Helsinki yesterday. It was great, but pretty exhausting—oh my, I’m not 25 anymore! 🤣
