Urgently wanted—Utopia Crafts Big Boss Warm Ivory

Hello, fellow knitters!

I’m currently working on a knitted blanket. I can’t tell for sure yet, but I’m afraid I might run out of yarn before I finish. With a little luck, I’ll just have enough. But just in case, I’m starting to look around to see if anyone has exactly this leftover yarn at home that they no longer need. I need Utopia Crafts from the Big Boss series in the color Warm Ivory. These were the 400-gram skeins with a length of 1,200 meters. I estimate that, if necessary, an additional 50 to 100 grams should be enough, but I’d gladly take more if anyone finds some in their yarn stash and is willing to part with it. Unfortunately, this item is no longer available. I would, of course, purchase the yarn and cover the shipping costs.

Thanks for the info. I bought it on Amazon, and no, it’s definitely no longer available there. And the Utopia Craft Store is gone too. I’d placed a reorder with an estimated delivery date around July 6. In the meantime, Amazon canceled the order. There are still some Big Boss skeins available for purchase, but unfortunately not in Warm Ivory. Thanks anyway!

Oh, darn. You’re right. Unfortunately, that exact color isn’t available.

I checked on Ravelry. There are lots of Utopia Crafts, but I didn’t find any Big Boss.

The shop still exists. Try Googling “Utopia Crafts UK.” Big Boss can be found under “Classics Garne,” but the Warm Ivory color is sold out there too. But at least you could ask them whether they’ll produce more!

Thanks, Birgit. I contacted Utopia Crafts directly quite a while ago. Unfortunately, I never got a reply. There used to be a Utopia Crafts store on Amazon, but it can no longer be accessed. I also looked on Etsy, where it said Utopia Crafts was taking a break. So under normal circumstances, I can hardly hope for a new production run anymore. But thanks for the tip!

Check out Vinted. You might just get lucky there.
