Doll Love Summer 2026: How Are Your Darlings Doing?

Have you handmade beautiful new dolls clothing / accessories? Who has new dolls?

My darlings are doing well. Even though I’m away from home for a week, my dearest neighbor is “taking care” of them. I’ll post pictures when I’m back home.

My four dolls are doing very well, but I haven’t made anything new for them yet because I have to finish my vest first. I have fabric for bodysuits and such lying around, but I’ll get to that once all my own projects are done. Here’s the latest photo I took of my four dolls

Well, I bet they’re up to something… But what a cute group—and dressed so beautifully for summer… 

One of them has a new summer dress with mini granny squares, but the buttons are still missing at the back, so she is stitched into it temporarily....

How tall is that doll with the big eyes? And does she have a sister?

You’ve crocheted that summery dress very nicely—it suits her. What yarn did you use to crochet it? It must be a fine yarn so you can crochet such delicate patterns without it looking too bulky.

My four haven’t gotten anything sewn, crocheted, or knitted yet either. But they didn’t go away empty-handed. I turned the shipping box from my spinning wheel into a play box, put a cozy blanket on the bottom, placed toys in the middle, and put one of them in each corner. That way, they have plenty of room to play and have fun. 

Just in the nick of time :)—I knitted the hairbands for the two little ones, and soon I’ll show you a few more things as well. 

Yeah, our gang of four is so much fun, isn’t it, Martina? Your four really have it good in their play box :-))))

I found something to show you sooner than I thought. This blanket had actually been finished for a few days, but I didn’t know who would get it yet. Now Matze, the boy among my four, has it. The girls all already have two blankets each, and now he does too. The blanket is crocheted in double crochet stitches in a zigzag pattern. I just tried out the pattern on a whim, and before I knew it, I had this little blanket :-)) 

Everything turned out beautifully.
