Since Cologne was spared the thunderstorm that was forecast yesterday, it’s still pretty muggy here, so I’m not doing much—just reading and doing some crafts, which is fine.
Yesterday was the deadline for the Mystery CAL, but I was out with friends, so I’ll finish it today—though I already know what it’ll be; you could tell from the last stage that it’s going to be a cute caterpillar. I’ll post a picture once I’m done.
There’s a flea market at the stadium tomorrow, but I’ll see how the weather turns out.

I’m currently knitting a short-sleeved vest—I’ve got the pattern in my head :-) The back is already done, and I’m working on the first front piece.

...I’m making lanterns again

I need them for my lamps in the hallway...they’re so dazzling
that will quickly change with the crocheted lampshade in lantern form ;)





 

Yesterday it was 28°, today “only” 26°.
Yesterday I started making another one of those cute mugs from @rimajas—I still need a gift.
And then there’s the weekend stress: on Saturday night I took down the curtains and washed them, and today, Sunday, I cleaned the windows and hung the curtains back up. Well, it’s pretty tiring. After lunch, I soaked in the tub for half an hour—wow, pure relaxation. Now I’m fresh and lively again, and I’m looking forward to the clear view outside and the clean curtains, so I can get back to working on the mug with peace of mind. 

We were at the Kunsthof in Herten Westerholt, where the studios were open today.






Afterward, we took a stroll through the old village.
Westerholt is simply beautiful.





After the thunderstorm last night, the weather was very pleasant.

Josefa, I thought that in photos of public events, people who aren’t directly in the frame are allowed to be in the pictures… otherwise, you should probably delete them.

I’ve removed all the photos with people in them, but there are still plenty of photos left. 

It worked out well ;)
