Einen super guten Tipp habe ich mal hier im Forum bekommen. Gestricktes ist ja meist lockerer als gehäkelt, und damit die Füllung dann nicht sichtbar wird, stopft man sie einfach in eine alte Feinstrumpfhose.Das fand ich einfach genial.
Beim häkeln nehme ich meist eine halbe Nadelstärke kleiner als beim Garn angegeben, das reicht, aber ich häkele auch eher fest.

You should take your time when assembling the individual pieces. Many people put a lot of effort into crocheting, working carefully and evenly. But the “tedious” sewing is then done quickly and with an attitude of “oh well, whatever—as long as it’s done!” And that’s where it unfortunately falls apart. Take your time to pin everything straight, and keep checking and correcting as you go! If an eye is crooked, carefully remove it and sew it on again. It’s just yarn, not superglue 😂 So you can always undo it, and even if it takes several tries, the beautiful end result is worth it. ☺️
