Hardworking little helpers: What are you working on right now?

Dear Community,
Are you busy with your yarn projects—and in real life, too? What are you working on right now?

I’m currently working on a multi-part blog series about hairpin lace crochet. Each post includes a bit about stitch basics, followed by a free pattern. These are the projects I’ve made so far.

And I’m just finding out how much the authors here are struggling! 🤣 I was recently in Augsburg, and I visited the Puppenkisten Museum while I was there. Now I’d love to crochet an Urmel—goodness, it’s not as easy as it looks.
After countless rounds of unraveling and reworking, I’ve finally finished the first prototype, but I already know what needs to be changed: the tail needs to be thinner and longer, the legs a bit thinner, the transition to the neck isn’t as defined, and then there’s the head.... Goodness gracious, I’ll have to take a completely different approach there. Lots of calculations, lots of writing, but it’s still fun. Model No. 2 is on the hook!

I’m currently working on a jacket, and I just checked: I started it back in March 2022! So it’s a really old UFO. Now I’m looking forward to finishing it. The sleeves turned out well—I just need to adjust the length. It’s going to take some hard work 😅

Following “rimajas” pattern (https://www.crazypatterns.net/de/items/27124/haekelanleitung-suesse-taesschen), I’ve already crocheted a few cups and given some away as gifts. It’s a really good pattern and the result is lovely.
  Now I’ve “modified” two cups a bit. The purple one isn’t quite where I want it yet—that was just a test. For the pink cup, I crocheted an extra connector and then attached the “coaster” to it; the cup’s shape is a little different, too. I really like it—do you like it too? 

     

Today I started on a little sheep that’s supposed to become a pillow for my granddaughter, who’ll soon be two, and I already had to unravel a few rows for the first time because I’d shifted the pattern off… Yesterday I tried my hand at crocheting with sponge yarn again—and there, too, I had to unravel some stitches because I didn’t like the shape the pattern called for. And in the basket are some half-finished DF cloths, but I’m still looking for a better material for them.

I’m still working on a new pattern for a dishcloth. This way, I’m using up my cotton yarn.

I’m on the second-to-last row of my second attempt. It’s getting better, but it’s not perfect yet.
