Dear Community,
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend. Do you have any plans for the weekend? How are things going with your yarn life and in real life? Are you keeping busy?

Thanks, Josefa—I wish the same for you. And for everyone else, of course!
It’s pouring rain here nonstop. I’m going out with a friend tomorrow night, but other than that, it’s going to be a nice, cozy weekend of crafting and reading. I’ve got a few projects just waiting to be started, and that thick, cozy sweater is still a work in progress.

I hope everyone has a great weekend, too :)

I’ve got a few loads of laundry to do here.
It’ll be a little workout, since I’ll have to go back and forth several times from the second floor to the basement (drying room).
Then I’ll pick up a few things at our local Rewe.
Other than that, I’ll keep knitting on the first sleeve of my jacket.

Just made myself a nice cup of tea
Now I’ll crochet until 9, then get dressed
The hairdresser is coming at 11 to add a bit of color to my hair again.
Then I’ll enjoy a little break with crochet and coffee, and in the evening I’ll meet dear friends for dinner
Tomorrow, we’ll see what the day brings

Wishing everyone a happy, relaxing weekend
Love, Sabine

It’s raining here right now, so I haven’t really decided what I’m going to do today.

In any case, I’ll be baking bread at lunchtime—I already prepared the dough yesterday. And I still want to sew some Easter bunnies for the Easter tree.

Tomorrow is a friend’s birthday, and we’re stopping by briefly to wish her a happy birthday.

Have a wonderful weekend

We were at the botanical garden in Tübingen this week—the first flowers are blooming

It’s 4° and raining here. Today is a lazy day, though the washing machine is running, and when it’s done, everything’s going in the dryer. I don’t have to walk far for that—it’s all right there in my kitchen ;-).
Tomorrow is our son’s birthday, and we’re celebrating here—though it’ll just be the three of us.
I’d love to do some crafting, but right now I really don’t have any ideas and I’m not feeling up to it—it’s just a really lazy day today.

I’m in a bit of a slump right now because the skin on my scalded leg isn’t healing as quickly as I’d like. That’s why I can’t do everything I want to. But at least I can knit, use the computer, listen to audiobooks, and watch TV. I’ll put the rest off until later.

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend. Enjoy everything that comes your way!

Best wishes, Ina

Ina, wishing you continued recovery—a burn like that takes time to heal, so take your time, even if it’s hard.

Best regards, Inge

Oh dear, Ina , I hope you get well soon. Sometimes you just need a little break, and then hopefully things will start looking up again.

I’ve been struggling with a cold for three weeks now, too. Especially the cough.
I have so many things I’d like to do, but unfortunately I have to work again. Hope I’ll be okay; otherwise, it’s back to the doctor.
Crocheting is always an option, as is beading and making cards. That’s really my thing right now.
The weather isn’t exactly great (wind, rain).

Have a great weekend, everyone!

Thanks, Inge and Andrea, for the kind wishes. A little balm for the soul is always nice.

Dear Andrea, I hope your cough goes away soon, too. That’s the last thing anyone needs.

And to you, dear Inge, I hope you have a wonderful time at the craft fair.

I’m going to look for a sewing pattern for a children’s dress on my computer now. My granddaughter, who just turned 4, picked out two fabrics at the fabric store for me to sew her a dress. One fabric is solid pink; the other has a colorful fish-scale pattern. The dress is supposed to be a summer dress with little cap sleeves. It’s supposed to have a full twirly skirt. And most importantly, it has to have pockets.

Ever since I sewed her a winter dress with pockets, she’s loved having pockets in her clothes. And that’s why this flowy summer dress has to have pockets, too. First, I need to figure out exactly where to put them. Maybe I’ll find the perfect sewing pattern here on CP, so I won’t have to experiment on my own.

Warm regards and have a wonderful Sunday, Ina
