How’s your yarn life going?

Dear Community,
Are you keeping busy in your “Wolle-Leben” and in real life too?

Just in my yarn life—in real life, I’m being pretty lazy right now. I’m retired, after all, and I’ve just finished everything, so there’s nothing to do but sit on the balcony and knit and crochet.
In my yarn life, I’m actually starting several projects at once—which isn’t really my style at all, but I’m enjoying it right now. Today I knitted another good chunk of that chunky, cozy sweater, and tomorrow I’m actually going to head downtown to visit a yarn shop—we’ll see how that turns out. 🤣

Oh, this month’s going to be a blast with all the yarn fun :-))))))
Because on March 21 and 22, there’s a yarn market in Hierschaid near Bamberg. My daughter and I are heading there—it’s not too far from Schweinfurt—and we’re going to have a mother-daughter day of yarn heaven, or rather, a yarn bath. :-))))

Not much is happening in my yarn life right now—I’m still hoping for that spark that’ll get everything going.

In real life, I’m pretty busy getting the house ready for spring, tending to the garden, and spending time with my family. Right now, I’m really glad that I’m not working anymore and still have time for a few pages of my book or a little project on the sewing machine. 



 

I’ve finally gotten my yarn life completely organized. 🤣
I’ve always had plenty of leftover yarn, and visiting the yarn shop wasn’t a waste of time either—seeing everything in person gives you so many great ideas. So that I don’t forget these spontaneous ideas and older plans right away, I’ve now neatly packed and labeled everything, and I can just grab a bag and get started.
