I’d love it if buyers could find the time to leave their reviews even without monetary compensation.

I’ve done my part and written reviews for the two patterns I purchased that still needed to be reviewed. Both received 5-star reviews, which can now help other users when they’re deciding whether to buy them.

As soon as I finish a project, I rate the pattern—I think that’s only natural.
These giveaways are really nice, but they also mean you end up seeing a lot of reviews that say, “I haven’t made this yet,” which of course aren’t helpful.

I’ve bought a ton of patterns. Unfortunately, I didn’t have any time last year to actually try any of them. That’s why I haven’t written any reviews. It doesn’t help anyone if I just write that the pattern looks good.
And yes, I feel guilty about it.

That’s why you don’t need to feel guilty at all—because that’s exactly what we designers want. Thank you for handling this this way. I hope that this year you’ll be able to carve out a few small pockets of free time to pursue your hobby. It always helps me unwind immensely when I can spend at least a few minutes a day doing crafts. But sometimes, unfortunately, that’s not a priority. Don’t let yourself get pressured—just enjoy it when you find the time.

I always try to rate a pattern as soon as I finish a project. It just doesn’t always work out.😒
So sometimes I end up rating two or three at once.😊
While I’m working on a project, I take notes on what I like or what doesn’t quite work for me. I can then include that in my review or message the author directly.✒️
