There are already some gorgeous socks being shared here. 😍😍👏
I didn’t start knitting socks again until late 2025 and had to “get back into the swing of things” after many years away from it.
I knit top-down with a shadow-wrap heel and a standard banded toe.
The yarn is 4-ply, and I’m using Addi Crazy Trio needles—size 2.
All the socks are going into a donation box for cancer patients, and there are more to come.
I wish you all a wonderful weekend.🥰

I’m a fan of your socks! Yes, because they’re so classic and also because of the Christmas colors. They look so beautiful—and they keep your feet warm too. I’m amazed that you knitted them with size 2 needles. Those are really very fine needles. I knit my socks with needle size 3, and my stitch pattern looks a little uneven; maybe it would look better with size 2. Thanks for the inspiration.

For me, the knitted fabric also turns out a bit uneven when using a 3 mm needle with a yardage of 420 m per 100 g. I use the 3 mm needle with 6-ply sock yarn.

These are also very pretty and cozy, dear Nina. The yarn looks a little thicker than 4-ply—or is that just the photo? A lovely pastel color. Of course, that makes knitting them much more exciting, too. You have so many talents!

Yes, dear Ina, this is 6-ply sock yarn that I’m knitting with a size 3 needle.
I knit 4-ply yarn with a size 2 or 2.25 needle.
Here are a few more new socks:
6-ply sock yarn, hand-dyed, size 28 with a diamond heel.
Also 6-ply with a diamond heel in size 37
And a pair of 4-ply socks with a diamond heel in size 40 for me.
Here you can see the heel.
By the way, I dyed this one myself, too.
