If you find yourselves bored, there are plenty of holiday projects here.

Have a wonderful day tomorrow, everyone—it’s not a holiday in North Rhine-Westphalia. But here in Cologne, it might be a pretty quiet day; we’re getting a nice dusting of snow right now. As a retiree, I always have time anyway, and there’s plenty of yarn in the house, along with tea and candles—everything’s perfect.

It’s a holiday in the Free State of Bavaria, and I think in Baden-Württemberg too, but as a retiree, it doesn’t matter anyway :-))) ;-)

Good morning 🙂

We live in Switzerland. Where we live, today is a holiday. So our little one doesn’t have kindergarten today. But my daughter goes to school in the large neighboring canton, and it’s not a holiday there 🙃 So she’s the only one who had to leave the house this morning in the freezing -13°C.

The rest of the family, however, gets to cozy up at home. The dough for the Three Kings’ cakes—which are traditionally eaten in Switzerland today—is already prepared in the kitchen. Let’s see who becomes king this time 😊

I wish everyone who doesn’t have the day off today a particularly lovely day nonetheless. And to everyone who has a holiday, I hope you have a cozy time.

 

Here in Berlin/Brandenburg, it’s not a public holiday.

But I have the day off and am enjoying these days. Just crafting and doing needlework as the mood takes me. 
That’s nice, too.
