Crafts for Social Projects 2025 / 2026

Unfortunately, I didn’t take any pictures, but a while back I crocheted baby hats for the postpartum ward at our hospital. Since I was treated there for a long time after my son was born, I’ve really grown fond of the people there. Every baby there receives their own hat, which someone has donated. Unfortunately, they’re all a bit too big for the newborns, so I made some in various smaller sizes and dropped them off there during a checkup. 

Last year, an organization near us asked for yarn donations so they could work with inmates at a women’s prison in the region to crochet or knit squares for blankets, which were then sold at Christmas markets for a good cause. I thought that was a great idea, but unfortunately I was too late to donate. So there are always opportunities to do some good with crafts, even outside your circle of friends and family.😊

I’ve been busy making hedgehogs this year. Since many of them are hibernating right now, there’s nothing to do at the moment
