I wish you a wonderful First Sunday of Advent and, of course, a great weekend. Do you have any plans for the weekend?

Since we all had to clear out our basements on such short notice, we were almost a bit short on decorations for the first Sunday of Advent. But I’ve finally managed to finish—it’s not actually that much, but after hours of cleaning out the basement, I was often just too exhausted to keep going.
Now I just have to finish my current crochet project tomorrow, because the Advent calendar starts on Monday, and there’s always plenty to crochet for that—I’m really looking forward to it.
Otherwise, this weekend is quiet—but the next one won’t be. And the week ahead is also packed with appointments. So for now, I’m enjoying some tea, candlelight, putting my feet up, and doing nothing but crocheting, eating, and reading.

I’ve been home with COVID-19 for three weeks now and have finally tested negative again.
So today I went to the light market at Duisburg Landscape Park.
The atmosphere there is one-of-a-kind—there are stalls with arts and crafts, and a choir was singing Christmas carols...






That was a great start to the season for me.
