Popular Knitting Patterns

Dear Community,
Which knitting patterns do you like best?

I love knitting lace patterns and textured patterns the most. With both types of patterns, I also enjoy knitting more complex designs.

I have to admit, I don’t really have a single favorite.
Either I see a pattern I like and then come up with an idea for what to use it for—like a sweater or a scarf—or I look for a pattern that goes well with a specific type of yarn. It could be a lace pattern, a cable pattern, a leaf pattern, a wave pattern… or who knows what. It just has to appeal to me for the current project with the yarn I have in mind.
 

I really like patterns with knit and purl stitches. 

I also enjoy knitting cable patterns. And lace patterns too. 

I like trying out new things.
