...Pumpkin Season 🎃

Hi,
here are some sewn pumpkins I made.🎃🎃🎃
They’re easy to make even without a sewing machine. Cut out a circle about 25 cm in diameter, thread a string through the outside edge, stuff it with stuffing, pull the string tight, and tie a knot.
Wrap twine around it to create the typical pumpkin grooves and decorate as desired. Best regards, duly 
 

Your decorative pumpkins turned out great. I like it when there’s a piece of a branch (natural) stuck inside the pumpkin. The brown one looks very cozy.

  I’ve also crocheted and embroidered many of them. I even sewed one once, but it wasn’t presentable at all. I used a sewing machine. But I’ve never tried it without a sewing machine—I’ll definitely have to give that a try sometime. Thanks for your pictures.

...you have a lovely variety of pumpkins.
 I really like the crocheted ones with the bobbles. 
The ones with crocheted doilies are interesting too, and the embroidered pumpkin is something special. 🎃😊

Oh, what lovely pumpkins—each one more beautiful than the last. I harvested a small real pumpkin today and arranged it decoratively. Such a beautiful, bright orange—I’ll post a picture later.

I especially like the real stems on duly-1’s pumpkins and also Petra’s bumpy pumpkins. In real life, all the different pumpkins look even better, but when made from fabric or wool like this, you can bring a little piece of that beauty into your home.

Your pumpkins are all very beautiful, whether sewn or crocheted. The embroidered picture turned out great, too.

@duly-1 , thanks—that was an attempt to crochet a two-tone pumpkin. I’m not quite satisfied with it yet.
Luckily, there are some nice patterns at H.... that are two-tone. I want to try those next. 😉

You all have such lovely things. Have you decorated yet? I still have my summer decorations up, but I’ll be bringing out the pumpkins soon, too.
