Dear Josefa, I had a lovely weekend, but didn’t really have time for crafting.

I was in Stuttgart for the dahlia bloom—simply wonderful.

But over the next few days, I don’t have anything in my planner. I’m sure I’ll have plenty of time for crafting then.

It’s over already—the weekend. I hope you all had a great one!
On Friday, the Mystery CAL was revealed and finished, and I’ve also made good progress on the vest, but other than that, I’m in the middle of cleaning out the kitchen. Goodness, the stuff we hoard—now I’m making space without mercy. My niece and her husband stopped by today—they were able to use quite a few things—and I’m also filling up a flea market box for a friend. Then there’ll be plenty of breathing room in the closets again, and I won’t have to constantly move 20 items out of the way just to get to something.

We finally cleaned up our garage and sorted through my sister’s stuff...
The trash has already been disposed of, and the rest of the donations are packed up too; we just need to drop them off now—the people at the shop know us by now 🤣.

Then our car will finally fit back inside again.

We had fun at the park festival in Waltrop, with delicious food and good music.
It’s always really nice every year.

We also took a walk in the Westrup Heath this week... it’s beautiful there at this time of year.

I’m also working on modeling a new concrete figure.
As long as the weather is this pleasant, I often enjoy being out on the balcony—but summer is slowly coming to an end. A pity, really.

So now we’re starting the new week.

Wow, Claudia, your new figurine is amazing. That little hand—just great. How big will it be? I could totally picture it in my garden on a little chair or bench, right in the middle of the flowers.

Thanks, Petra—the figurine will be about 35 cm tall in total.

It’s going to be a gift for my friend, and there it will probably end up sitting somewhere among her flowers.
In the pictures, she’s sitting on a sandstone 🧱.
