So far, this triangle scarf is my favorite one that I own:

I have a very special triangular shawl to show you. It’s probably not necessarily the prettiest shawl, since it’s knitted entirely in garter stitch. BUT it’s knitted with multiple strands of very fine cashmere yarn. I knitted this shawl about 10 years ago for a former coworker and friend of mine. She has fibromyalgia, a chronic pain condition. I gave her the shawl so she could wrap herself in it at the office and keep her aching muscles warm. Maybe it helped precisely because I knitted it just for her and for that specific purpose. After all, you always knit all your good wishes right into the project.

Warm regards, Ina

Years ago, I loved knitting the shawl called “Ishbel” with this very same wonderful cashmere yarn. Unfortunately, I didn’t keep any of those shawls, which I now find very regrettable. The Italian manufacturer of the yarn has discontinued production. Back then, I always thought I could knit one for myself later on—but that’s no longer possible because this special yarn is no longer available.

As you can see, all the shawls have the same pattern. You can keep knitting the point continuously.
Thanks, Josefa, for the thread—it gave me a chance to reminisce a bit.

Best wishes, Ina

I’ve also knitted a few scarves myself, though only for the cold season.

The fringed scarf was a birthday gift for my godmother
for me, and the red one, too

I’ve knitted a few myself!

My favorites are two-color patent and shortened rows—but I’m also a big fan of many other patterns :-)

Thanks, Veronika :)

I really like the simple triangular shawl you made for your friend, Ina.
High-quality yarn doesn’t necessarily need any patterns.

Oh, what beautiful shawls!
Thanks, Marlene, for your compliment on my shawl.

I think the top shawl with the shortened rows by Renate is especially beautiful. It has a lot of energy to it.

Best regards, Ina

I'm happy to show you my two favorites.

This shawl keeps me company in the evening and on my morning rounds through the garden. When it gets cooler in the evening, it's big enough to snuggle up in.

This shawl is always with me. Light and small for a handbag or backpack.
In summer it protects me from the sun and has already prevented quite a few sunburns.
I also don't like cold air on my neck, so I like to always have it within easy reach. It's made from a pleasant cotton yarn and is just right for me.
