Tote Bag

I went to Tedox yesterday and bought some thick felt because I wanted to sew a tote bag for my Steffi. I spent the whole afternoon in my little sewing room today and sewed this tote bag by hand—it was really fun :-))

Your Steffi is really well taken care of by you! Dressed so beautifully and lovingly, she now even gets her very own tote bag.

Looking at it, I wondered why the raised part at the head end isn’t sewn on in the center? Is that how it’s supposed to be, or am I just looking at it from the wrong angle?

Personally, I’m not a big fan of felt in this form—maybe because I don’t really like the natural felt color on its own. Since you’re a seamstress and so clever at everything—maybe you could cover the whole thing with fabric? A few little ruffles would be nice, too. Why not ask your Steffi what she’d like ;-)

How cute they both are, with their teddy bears in their arms, and such a pretty seashell blanket and pillow!

Great! You have so many ideas. 

The sewn edging makes the tote bag look fantastic.
