Leftovers are the best! Everyone has them, but don’t know what to make with them? Well, here you go. I’ll try to present one idea from my shop for each material:
Fabric scraps
For a
playing card holder, you only need a very small amount of fabric. An old, discarded T-shirt is completely enough. Add two old CDs and a button. From that, we sew an ultra-clever, super-practical card holder for playing cards. You put the playing cards in the holder and can see them all at a glance. No more cards falling down. It’s also a lovely idea for an Easter basket—it doesn’t always have to be just sweets, right?
Thin leftover yarn
If you only have a tiny bit of thin yarn, it’s still enough for doll clothes. For a
swimsuit, tiny amounts are enough. Thanks to a crochet chart, it’s quick to crochet and brings lots of joy to little doll moms. You can even crochet one in a different color for each doll.
Leftover felting wool
I always knit
insoles from leftover felting wool for my loved ones’ slippers, winter shoes, clogs, and rubber boots. Nothing works better against cold feet. Feet stay nice and warm and dry without sweating. Felt doesn’t absorb odors and is breathable. The insoles are quickly knitted from leftover felting wool; the washing machine takes care of the felting. A template for cutting the sizes is included.
I hope you have lots of fun making my ideas.
