Baby Overalls

When knitting baby pants, the circular needle gets tight when I pick up the stitches for the two legs!!
What am I doing wrong?

You’re not doing anything wrong. It might be because of the length of the circular needle. Just use a shorter needle. If you don’t have one in a different length, pull the right needle through, keep knitting, and a loop will form on the needle—you can then pull that loop tight again.
