Sewing Performance Clothing

Dear Community,
Is it possible to sew your own performance clothing for sports and other activities?

Sure, you can, but whether it’s worth it is another story. The fabrics for performance wear aren’t exactly cheap, and you’ll probably need an overlocker and/or a coverstitch machine to make sure the seams look good. There are more than enough patterns out there—you can use a regular T-shirt pattern and a leggings pattern for pants. You can even sew your own swimsuit, which I’ve done before, since there are plenty of patterns for that online, too.
