Since sock yarn is very fine and now also comes in beautiful colors, I like to knit doll clothes with it. It creates nice, fine stitches, doesn’t require much yarn, and you quickly have a lovely result. Here are a few examples.
I hope you enjoy looking at them and making them yourself.

Cardigan for Dolls
We knit the cardigan as a raglan from the top down. We start with the collar and end at the hem. The length is variable. There are no seams.

Poncho for Dolls
Of course, sock yarn is also great for crocheting. Even a crochet beginner can easily make these little ponchos for the ladies. The cut is very simple; anyone can manage it. There are different collar variations and a hat to go with it. An ideal beginner project.
Poncho with Fringe
Finally, one more tip for the grown-ups. Here I knitted 6-ply sock yarn into a poncho. It looks modern and relaxed. The color gradients come straight from the ball of yarn. We knit only knit stitches. This is a lovely project for cozy evenings in front of the TV.
