Finger puppets are always a great idea for using up small yarn scraps. They’re especially sure to delight kindergarten-age children. You can take these little puppets anywhere; they’re basically a “puppet theater for your pocket.”
There are no limits to your imagination.
Here are a few ideas from my
finger puppet collection:

Here you can get the crochet pattern for a
complete Kasperl puppet theater ensemble : 10 finger puppets at an unbeatable bargain price! There’s Kasperl, Seppel, Gretel, Grandma, the Princess, the King, the Robber, the Witch, the Policeman, and of course the Crocodile.

Or would you prefer a few little animals? How about
a hippo, a lion, and a little monkey from faraway Africa? You can also combine them with the Kasperl puppets above and send Kasperl off on an adventure.

And when Easter approaches, of course
cute little Easter bunnies are a must in the finger puppet theater. Put them in the Easter basket as a little surprise along with the chocolate eggs—it’s sure to be a hit!
