Joint Discs for Amigurumi / Animals

Dear community,
do you have any tips for working with joint discs for amigurumi / animals?

There isn’t really much to keep in mind. They shouldn’t be too big, so they don’t show as a ridge on the outside. And if it’s meant to be a children’s toy, you shouldn’t use cardboard discs because they aren’t washable.

They shouldn’t be too small, though—otherwise, depending on the thickness of the yarn, it can be difficult to press them in really tightly.

It’s also important to connect the two parts really securely, so try to position the disc over all the notches on the pin; otherwise, it’ll wobble a bit at the end.
