My daughter gave me some denim yesterday, and today I made a pair of jeans out of it for myself :-))
I put elastic in all my pants because I can’t stand those tight waistbands—they give me stomachaches and rub my scar right at waist level raw. Thankfully, that doesn’t happen with elastic.

They already look very comfortable. Because of an abdominal hernia I had two years ago, I can’t wear anything tight at the level of my surgical scar either.
