Thanks, Josefa—I wish the same for you and everyone else here. Yes, it’s been cold—and not just a little—but at least December starts tomorrow. Even back in November, such low temperatures were normal when I was a kid. The older folks here will remember that too :-)

Yes, November was—at least in Cologne—actually much too warm, but I tend to go by the calendar’s seasonal changes; that usually fits better. We haven’t had any frost yet, but this morning it was “only” 4 degrees; on Monday, though, it’s supposed to be back in the double digits.
The decorations are up and hanging, there are plenty of candles in the house—bring on the first Sunday of Advent, we’re ready! And tomorrow, we can finally open the first doors on our Advent calendars—yay!

Today we were at the Potsdam Christmas market with our parents, enjoying glorious sunshine and crisp, cold air. It was wonderful.
