How are you celebrating Christmas 2024?

Dear users, dear authors,
how are you celebrating Christmas 2024? Do you have plans? 

Nope, it’ll be really quiet and relaxed at our place, without any big hustle and bustle. We’re not going anywhere either, because my husband isn’t allowed to drive until after the holidays due to his eye surgery. So we’ll just make ourselves comfortable—if any of the kids stop by, that’s fine, and if not, that’s okay too.

Traditionally, the family comes to our place on Christmas Day, and that’s still a good thing, since my husband can’t go out anymore. We’ll sit together comfortably over raclette, chat a lot, and laugh a lot. On Christmas Eve and the second day, the two of us will just cozy up together.
There’s also a Christmas party for our regulars’ group in early December, but I’ll have to see if I can make it—for example, I couldn’t have left my husband alone today, so I’ll decide at the last minute.

We hope to celebrate just as we have in previous years.

On Christmas Eve, everyone comes to our house, and we celebrate as a large group spanning four generations. On Christmas Day, we’ll be at my in-laws’, and on the second day of Christmas, we’ll relax again with the kids, playing board games and eating leftovers.
