If you could spare a few thoughts this weekend for International Day of the Girl (= a day against the discrimination of girls around the world) and World Arthritis Day (= a day to focus on the problems and challenges faced by people with rheumatic diseases), that would be wonderful.

I’m currently working on some Easter decorations; a friend asked for them for her birthday, which is in November. I’ll easily have everything finished in time—there’ll be a bunny, two chickens, and a few eggs.
Yeah, these special days are always coming up (I think every day is “booked” by now, right?), it’s certainly important to remember some things, but if they then disappear from our minds for the rest of the year, it doesn’t really accomplish much. And the fact that, in the 21st century, equality still hasn’t even come close to being achieved worldwide is a real indictment. The so-called crown of creation seriously has room for improvement.
