Crocheting with plush yarn can be particularly challenging for beginners, since the stitches are hard to see. But if you’ve already got a little practice under your belt, you should definitely try crocheting a little animal with this yarn—it’s really worth it: The animal turns out wonderfully soft and cuddly, just perfect for hugging and snuggling!
Plus, there are a few tricks you can use to minimize any potential problems. You’ll find valuable tips on this in my patterns.
Here are a few of the
animals from my shop:

I once designed this
sleeping lamb as a music box for my granddaughter. With the lamb in her arms and its gentle lullaby, she always fell asleep feeling completely calm.

Purzel the bunny was an Easter gift. The blue overalls with the little hearts are crocheted on and can’t be taken off. The pattern also includes instructions for the little basket with the colorful eggs.
Pamina the alpaca was also crocheted mostly from plush yarn. To make it easier, I crocheted in a gray carry-along thread. For the snout, ears, and hooves, I used thin chenille yarn; the saddle and bridle are made from colorful leftover cotton yarn.
