Maybe you’d like to crochet some Halloween decorations this weekend? Is Halloween too spooky for you? Well,
Halloween decorations don’t have to be scary—they can be really cute too. Here are a few examples from my shop:

The little
surprise egg ghost glows greenish in the dark if you crochet it with glow-in-the-dark yarn. In daylight, it’s white. The ghost is crocheted around the empty shell of a surprise egg. You can open it and hide a small piece of candy inside, making it perfect as a little gift to bring to a Halloween party. It’s quick and easy to make, so you can crochet several at once to give to the children who ring your doorbell on Halloween and call “trick or treat.”

Aren’t the two
bats Ferdi and Gerdi just adorable? They’re about 12 cm tall, and their wings have a wingspan of about 16 cm. Ferdi and Gerdi are crocheted using the same pattern but with different materials: Ferdi (on the right in the pictures) is made of cotton yarn, and Gerdi (on the left) is made of fine chenille yarn.

Of course, Halloween absolutely needs a few witches too. You can crochet the
Witches’ Dance Mobile very nicely from colorful leftover yarn. When you hang the mobile in the window, the little witches perform a wild dance on their broomsticks with every breeze!
