Christmas/Winter Bestsellers: Get started now

Dear users, dear authors,
We have many wonderful bestsellers for Christmas and winter in the shop, and more are being added every day. If you’d like to make as many of them as possible, you should start soon or add them to your watchlist / wish list. Have fun crafting.

If you want to make your own Christmas decorations—and especially if you’ve set your sights on something challenging—you should start working on them early enough.

That’s definitely advisable for this star: Even though it isn’t complicated to make, the crafting process is only fun if you can carry out each step carefully and precisely, without rushing.
 


The Advent star is made primarily from photo cardstock and measures about 28 cm. With a little experience with similar craft projects, you’ll be able to recreate it with ease.

It feels a little strange to be thinking about Christmas in the middle of summer. But Josefa is right - the time before Christmas always gets tight, so it really is worth starting now with preparations for decorations and gifts. So here is a small selection of my winter / Christmas patterns - there are many more in my shop, so feel free to stop by :-)

A knitted scarf makes a lovely gift under the Christmas tree. You can choose the color to match your winter jacket, creating a great complement to your outfit.

Triangles Scarf starts narrow and ends narrow as well. This allows you to wrap the scarf around your neck many times and tuck the ends neatly underneath.



For this pattern, you’ll need to know how to knit and purl, make yarn overs, and knit stitches together. The pattern is explained in writing row by row, and you’ll also find a knitting chart.

Simple Arm Warmers

A pair of warm arm warmers also makes a great gift idea.
The pattern is very simple and quick to make. Plus, it’s designed to use just under 50 grams of yarn, so one skein is enough. It’s best to use cozy, soft merino wool for this project.
