Advanced crafters: do you ever make a beginner project?

Dear users, dear designers,
do you, as advanced crafters, ever make a beginner project, or is that not challenging enough? 

Of course! Because if I like a so-called beginner’s project, there’s nothing stopping me from making it—and why not? It always depends on what it is—like these dishcloths, for example; those are real beginner projects, and I knit them every now and then, or pot holders—that’s another beginner project; we were already tormented with those in elementary school during needlework class ;-) :-)

Of course I do—if I like it, the difficulty level doesn’t matter.
Besides, sometimes you just need a project you can work on without having to think too hard.

Sure, I decide based on whether I like something, not on how much skill it requires. Right now, I’m knitting quite a few squares in garter stitch using leftover yarn—it’s really simple, and it’s almost meditative.

Of course we do.

Sometimes you just need something simpler for a change.

Besides, if I like the pattern, the difficulty level doesn’t matter.
It never really has. 😎
I’ve never paid attention to that with my crochet projects.
