Leftover Weekend: Now Use Up Leftovers with Magical Patterns

Small scraps are perfect for knitting doll or teddy bear clothes—for example, this raglan sweater for 25–30 cm teddy bears. There’s bound to be a favorite bear out there who’ll love it.

You can crochet cute little animals from leftover yarn as keychains or bag charms.
Here are a few ideas:


The little seal is balancing a colorful ball on its nose. Isn’t it cute? You only need a few scraps of gray yarn and a little colorful yarn for the ball.


You can also make Jojo the little monkey as a clingy monkey if you work wire (chenille stems or pipe cleaners) into the arms and legs.


This little moose is a popular bag charm not only in winter and at Christmas. It’s very easy to make.

When recreating this flower ball , you have plenty of room for your own creativity: You can choose any colors you like for the ball and reduce the number of flowers glued on top of each other to suit your preferences. By the way, the flowers offer a great opportunity to use up your scrap photo cardstock.



The flower ball is made of photo cardstock and measures about 19 cm. It’s easy to recreate, even for beginners. The only special skill you’ll need is a bit of patience when cutting out the many flowers.
