And to answer your question: things are moving a bit slowly for us right now, in almost every respect... what’s frustrating is that there are some issues that can’t be resolved just like that... but as they always say so nicely: giving up isn’t an option.

It’s actually a bit sunny and dry here—how nice—but it’s still a little chilly on the balcony because of the wind. Oh well, at least it’s not raining.
We’re going to sleep first and foremost, then sleep some more, and maybe even rest a bit 🤣🤣, it’s been a bit of a rough week with lots of doctor’s appointments and surgeries for both of us, plus a few restless nights—retirees sure know how to have a good time!
But nooo, I still manage to crochet, and eat and read, all at a leisurely pace and usually nice and cozy with my feet up.

I hope you all have a lovely, sunny weekend, too.

It’s sunny and warm here, but we keep getting intense thunderstorms with heavy rain and even hail—and an hour later, it’s as if nothing had happened. Sitting in the garden is only possible if we keep an eye on the weather so we don’t get caught off guard by showers.

Let’s just make the best of it and enjoy every moment as it comes.

I’ve caught a cold and am going to take it easy this weekend. I have a good book, and the sun is shining brightly here.

I also wish everyone a wonderful weekend. It’s almost summer here. After breakfast, I always take a stroll through the garden and the greenhouse to see who’s thirsty and where there’s work to be done. Today’s walk will be a bit shorter because it rained overnight.

I’m meeting up with my brother later to do some DIY projects. We’re building something really great together. I come up with the ideas and know exactly how it should look—and he brings them to life with wood. To make the experience even nicer, we’ll have some homemade poppy seed cake. My husband went fishing. So, it’s a wonderful day where everyone can relax and enjoy their hobbies.
