Sewing linen

Dear users, dear designers,
Do you like linen clothing? Is linen easy to sew?

I love linen. I sewed myself two outfits with linen fabrics, one in green and one in chocolate brown, but I can’t access that one at the moment because my PC is at the doctor’s right now; it’s not doing what I want. But I can show you the green one; I sewed it a few years ago for my youngest granddaughter’s First Communion.
The blouse and the lining of the jacket, which, by the way, was sewn as a reversible jacket, are made from a little cotton fabric.

I couldn’t access my PC this afternoon because the BIOS had crashed and my husband had to get it back up and running. Thank goodness he learned how to do that as a side job back in the ’90s :-) Luckily, I also have a laptop next to my PC that I can use to work. :-)

Glad to hear your computer is working again.
You did a great job sewing that. 

Personally, I’m not a fan of linen because it isn’t very stretchy and because it rustles a bit.

"It wrinkles," I meant

But it feels so wonderfully cool against the skin on very hot summer days, Ruth, and I don’t mind the wrinkles—that’s just part of linen; it’s also how you can tell it’s real linen and not a blended fabric

I think linen is great, and personally, the wrinkles don’t bother me at all. The fabric often seems pretty stiff at first, but only until it’s been washed—at least that’s my impression.
Linen clothes are sooo comfortable to wear; on warm days, there’s nothing I like better.
Linen is also great to sew with.
I made this dress myself—I traced the pattern from a store-bought denim tunic and lengthened it a bit to make a dress.
I love it.
