Knitted Cast-On

Dear users, dear authors,
what is meant by knitted cast-on? 

When casting on, the stitches are cast on in the same way as when knitting knit stitches.

First, make a slip knot and place the left needle into it.
Then insert the right needle into this loop, wrap the yarn around it, pull it through, and place the resulting loop onto the left needle.
Repeat this process until you reach the desired number of stitches.

This is called the “endless cast-on.”

This method is also suitable for increasing several stitches at once along the side, if necessary.

I always use this cast-on method when knitting.
