Dear users, dear authors,
here in this thread you’ll find patterns that you can make with just one skein of yarn. Have fun crafting.

Mod tip: With the store credit account discount, it always gets more affordable.

@Authors,
all patterns featured here must be able to be made with one skein of yarn, must have at least 10 sales / a CR of at least 2%, and must not have been featured in the forum in the past 3 weeks. Don’t forget links, images, info, etc. 2–3 patterns per author are enough.

Hand-knit washcloth mitts are not only sustainable, but quick and easy to knit. They’re also great for giving as gifts. Best of all, they can be knitted wonderfully with leftover cotton yarn; you don’t even need a full skein.

These washcloth mitts also have a special exfoliating effect. So grab your needles and a nearly full skein of cotton, and get started right away.

One skein is enough for this hat with its fun points. The hat is knitted in the round and can be made in sizes 0–24 months.

Even for baby booties, 50 grams is often plenty. For this model, you’ll need practice knitting with a set of double-pointed needles. You should also have knitted a cable with a cable needle before. The pattern includes written instructions, and I’ve also included a knitting chart for the cable pattern.

One 100 g skein of potholder yarn is enough to crochet this small heart pillow cover.The heart will be about 20 x 20 cm and is especially suitable as a cover for a grain pillow that you heat in the microwave—a great gift for anyone who’s always cold! You can also use it as a potholder if you add a small hanging loop.

You can conjure up this Tunisian-crocheted origami bag from a 200 g cake. It’s called that because you first crochet only a rectangle, which is later folded origami-style. It’s very easy and therefore an ideal project for anyone who would like to try Tunisian crochet.

And here is a little music box lamb for which you only need 50 g of thick fluffy yarn. If you don’t dare try this yarn, of course you can also use another similarly thick yarn. But don’t worry: the pattern includes lots of tips on how to work with this yarn without despairing.

With just one ball of cotton yarn (50 grams), you can quickly crochet a beautiful and decorative anchor like this one. This is a great crochet project, and the anchor fits well with a beach and ocean theme.

The crochet pattern is available in German, Dutch, and English. You’ll find all the information and a complete list of materials on the product page.
