Yeah, my little designs are always quick to embroider.
In early February, I designed a little sheep and realized while embroidering that a white sheep doesn’t look good at all on white fabric, so I embroidered the sheep on colored fabric as a test.
Once on pink fabric, once on light green
The sheep has been sitting on the table for three days now, with a heart template next to it, and I’ve kept placing the template over my embroidered sheep, but I didn’t dare make the first cut. I wanted to sew a heart.
Today, I finally took the plunge, grabbed the scissors, and cut and sewed it.
I really like how it turned out. The pink sheep is still sitting up there, waiting to see what it’s meant to be.
So far, all my attempts at finishing it have turned out well—except for one. But I chose the wrong fabric for that one, and I hope I can carefully unpick it all.

Since I didn’t embroider the design myself, it doesn’t hurt quite as much. See the top left of the picture.
What do you do with your embroidered designs? Do you have any ideas for me?
