With this pattern, you can dress dolls of various sizes, or even teddy bears, in cute outfits using just a few leftover yarn scraps. The sweater is worked top down with raglan shaping. As you knit, you can look forward to the finished result and to the beaming face of a little doll mum when you give the sweaters as gifts. Wouldn’t that be a great idea for an Easter basket?

You can also knit this cute summer outfit from leftover yarn. It fits dolls measuring 43–50 cm and even small newborns. The top is also knitted top down with raglan shaping.

Lina’s Favorite Sweater III is a garment for everyone who loves striped patterns.
Knitted as a raglan from the top down, it makes it possible for you to create it in any size you need, because with RVO the right size practically works itself out.

You start at the neck with a rolled ribbing.
The raglan lines are prettily spruced up with a cable .
These cables are also featured in the ribbing of the body and sleeves.

The striped pattern uses two colors and can of course be knitted in your favorite colors.
You can also knit up larger leftover yarn or work the stripes in a colorful mix of small scraps.

Knitting or crocheting raglan is a real treat! You work in one piece and there are no seams. This is especially great for doll clothes, since you’re dealing with such small sizes. Every seam gets in the way.

Cardigans for dolls

You can knit the cardigan to any length you like—from short to long, anything is possible. We start at the top with the collar and knit it all the way down to the hem in one go. Small amounts of leftover yarn are enough.

Of course, you can also knit absolutely wonderful cardigans for adults using the raglan technique. You’ll just need more yarn :-)

Cardigan with a shawl collar

Here, we’ll first knit the body of the cardigan and then knit on the elongating shawl collar. We’ll also add large pockets and a belt. This is guaranteed to become a favorite piece in your wardrobe.

I hope you have fun knitting this.
Warm regards from Ina
