Hey everyone,
let’s take a moment to enjoy your homemade Easter decorations here!

I’ll start with what I made today:

Best wishes—Nina

That’s so cute. How did you attach it? With wire?

I’m doing some embroidery and crocheting.

I can show you one embroidered picture; the rest aren’t sewn yet.

So cute, Petra ❤️
I’m also going to make a few embroidered eggs—finally, after all these years!

My craft project was made simply with hot glue.
Next time, I’ll use wood glue—it holds better on the wooden pieces than hot glue does.

Wow, Nina, now that’s what I call creative. You really have to come up with a craft idea like that on your own.

Your embroidered picture, Petra, is also super cute.

The doilies are from back when I didn’t have an embroidery machine yet, and the little nests were made with the embroidery machine

Best wishes, Inge

These are all lace embroideries that I made into a bouquet.

Best wishes, Inge

Last year, I crocheted over all the damaged plastic eggs for the Easter tree. It was super quick to do with leftover yarn

I haven’t made that much for Easter yet, but I’ll snap a picture when I take it out and set it up.

I made this a little while ago—the quail eggs are from my quails. I always save them whenever we have fried eggs.

Is blowing them out as hard as it is with chicken eggs?

Very pretty—the eggs are so cute

@Petra:
What a cute CD sheep ❤️

I don’t blow out the quail eggs. I have quail egg scissors so I can “decapitate” them for fried eggs. Anyone who’s ever tried to crack open quail eggs the normal way will understand… they have a much thicker membrane than chicken eggs, which makes it really tricky 😂
You can’t tell from the wreath that the eggs have been “decapitated” because I glued them on with the opening facing down.
I think blowing them out would be really tedious, but I’ll give it a try as soon as my ladies start laying again (since they don’t start laying again until around the end of March, when there’s enough daylight. Quails only lay when there are enough hours of daylight—or under artificial light… but we don’t do that).

Petra, that’s such a cute idea! I’d finally be able to use up a few CDs with a decoration like that, and I’ve got plenty of yarn—it’s just that I usually don’t have the time…

Christina, these little figures were quick to crochet and so much fun to make. But yes, there’s never enough time left for crafts.

I’m thrilled to see your amazing decorations here! 👍

It’s giving me all kinds of new ideas. I’ve got some CDs lying around, too. Thanks, Petra.

I would’ve thought quail eggs were very fragile. A very pretty basket, Nina.

Your lace embroidery looks great, Inge.

Actually, I was right in the middle of making my spring and Easter decorations, but then St. Nicholas came into my life. Now there just aren’t enough hours in the day to get everything done that I’ve planned.

I crocheted another carrot last night. I didn’t really like it with just one

I found these chickens on the street a few weeks ago

I just couldn’t walk past them without taking them home

My spring Easter gnome is finished.

What do you do with an egg that used to hold pudding? Something like this 😀

I’m still working on a few things, but it’s slowly coming together.

I’ve been embroidering again... Now I have a total of 5 little pictures for Easter (you’ve already seen the last one)
