The lids from empty, rinsed-out jam jars can be beautifully crocheted around, turning them into truly unique candy jars. Use them to give homemade sweets or other little treats as gifts. You can also put an LED string light into an empty jar, and then you have a beautiful light-up decoration.

Crocheted pennant garland for every occasion

Here I crocheted a pennant garland from cotton as a gift for a birth. But it also looks lovely for welcoming spring or summer. 





For small knitted doll shoes, smaller leftover yarn is enough for us. With this model, for example, the sole, the leg, and the cuff can be knitted in different colors. The cuff can be knitted either in a rib pattern to fold over or with a rolled edge. 

While making this colorful Easter card , you can use up some of your scrap cardstock. Since the card’s colors can be easily adjusted, you can adapt it to the scraps you have on hand.


When folded, the card measures approximately 21 x 10.5 cm. It takes a little time to make, but is very easy to recreate.
