Sometimes a collar, sometimes a scarf—this collar+scarf is incredibly versatile. I like to wear it under sweaters with a wider neckline. That way, my throat and neck always stay nice and warm.

It’s very easy to knit if you’ve knitted before. It’s also a wonderful way to use up a leftover skein.

I also have a knitted collar for you—a lovely alternative to an infinity scarf or a loop.

The “Sled Ride” collar is knitted from the bottom up using circular needles. I chose a yarn with a length of 85 m; I used 150 grams.

Or maybe you’d prefer a loop made from a lovely, soft, cozy yarn?

The “LiMaZo” loop is knitted using only knit and purl stitches. The cable pattern forms all on its own after just a few rounds.

These three cowls featured here are all knitted using the double-face technique. Double knitting gives you two “right sides,” so the cowls can be worn on either side. It also makes the knitted fabric nice and dense, keeping you cozy and warm. Detailed instructions for the basics of double-face knitting are included with each pattern.

Scarves, cowls, wrist warmers ... you always need them, every fall, every winter. They’re always great to give as gifts. Here are two of my favorite patterns, which have already made lots of people happy. You can still finish them by Christmas, too.

Warm greetings from Ina

Universal Cowl for the Whole Family

You can knit it either in a solid color or with gradient yarn. We always knit in the round, and the pattern is also quite straightforward. You can knit the cowl for all family members or friends.

Wrist Warmers with Decorative Cables

We need 50 or 60 g of yarn and a set of double-pointed needles. There is a decorative cable pattern on top, and the palms are knitted in stockinette stitch. Integrated thumb gussets ensure a perfect fit. These wrist warmers also make a nice gift for young girls, because their fingers are free for using their phones ;-)
