Dear users, dear authors
we currently have so many beautiful new cats in the shop, this could be a new trend. You need them all.
Make them right away, and maybe you'd also like to make a cat basket for your real cats?
for example here
https://www.crazypatterns.net/de/items/5679/gefilztes-katzenkoerbchen-in-2-groessen

or also here
https://www.crazypatterns.net/de/items/16289/katzen-oder-hundehoehle-haekelanleitung

here's another pretty sewn cat bed
https://www.crazypatterns.net/de/items/1909/naehanleitung-hundebett-hund-katze-bett-sofa-ebook-katzenbett-kissen-schlafplatz

P.S. of course, you can also make these for dogs : )

Dear authors,
please introduce your patterns for cats here. Please include the material, difficulty level, technique, and what makes the pattern special. As always, with a link, image, and text, of course.
If the pattern can be made with leftover yarn or is also suitable for beginners, please mention that too.
Good luck

A little kitten recently moved into my shop, too.
The little one is named Luna and is just 13 cm tall.
The pattern is written in great detail and includes lots of pictures.
Even beginners can use it to make the kitten successfully.

Materials
  • Cotton Quick by Gründl (gray, a little white and black)
  • alternatively, Catania (very similar in quality)
  • 2.5 mm crochet hook
  • sewing needle
  • stuffing
  • safety eyes approx. 10 mm
What you should already know how to do
  • single crochet
  • chain stitches
  • crochet in rounds
  • increase and decrease stitches
  • simple sewing
And here is the pattern.

Crochet Pattern: Little Kitten Luna

Have fun!

The cat that’s always with you :-)
10–20 g leftover wool/yarn and a crochet hook. A little stuffing and a needle.
Single crochet, increases and decreases, chain stitches. Then the cute cat will soon be dangling from your keychain or your bag.

The little kittens romp around completely carefree with the little mice. Aren’t they just adorable? Get the
pattern for these sweet kittens now, including the pattern for the
little mouse.

Size:
Using the specified hook size (2.5), they are approx. 17 cm tall when sitting; of course this varies with other hook sizes.

Stitches used:
You only need to be familiar with chain stitches, slip stitches, single crochet stitches, and a magic ring.

Material:
-
approx. 60 grams of yarn (depending on yardage and weight), e.g. Catania by Schachenmayr
- crochet hook size 2.5
- optionally 2 googly eyes/safety eyes/buttons or similar
- stuffing

This little pink kitten has beautiful green eyes and a heart on her belly. She loves her toy bunny very much and takes it everywhere with her. It’s about 25 cm tall. Depending on the yarn weight, it can be made smaller or
larger. The outfit is completely removable.

You’ll need the following:✓ 80 g pink crochet yarn: e.g., Sheep Woolly Hugs 50 g/110 m
20 g white crochet yarn: e.g., Sheep Woolly Hugs 50 g/110 m
Crochet yarn for the clothing: e.g., On line “FELIZIA” 50 g/100 m
✓ 2.75 mm crochet hook.
✓ Safety eyes 10–12 mm, eyelashes, felt.
✓ Stuffing
✓ All-purpose glue (such as Hobby Pattex)
✓ 1 extra-long sewing needle
✓ 2 buttons

There are also sweet little kittens for the very smallest ones. As a grasping toy or rattle, they’re always happily picked up.
And ideal for moms, grandmas, or crochet-loving aunts who want to bring along something quick. Also suitable for beginners!

What you need:
  • Crochet hook size 2.5
  • Yarn suitable for hook size 2-3. Ideal for using up leftovers!
  • Kinder Surprise capsule, regular size (no Maxi Eggs)
  • Rice, buckwheat, small pebbles, or something similar

Just click here and you’ll be at the pattern:

Well, I have something to contribute on this topic, too :-)

The Vampire Cat—an absolute showstopper, not just for Halloween! It’s available here!

All parts of the cat are crocheted in spiral rounds using single crochet stitches, so the pattern is absolutely beginner-friendly! :-)

For the cape, slip stitches, single crochet, half double crochet, and double crochet are used.
The pattern is well illustrated, and at the end there’s even a page with links to online videos explaining all the necessary crochet techniques.

What you’ll need:

♦ Yarn of your choice in various colors (1–2 fur colors, a color for the inside of the cape, a color for the outside of the cape + bow tie), as well as leftover yarn in white and black for the details

♦ A crochet hook that matches the yarn

♦ Stuffing

♦ Safety eyes (if desired)

♦ A sewing needle

If you’re not quite in the Halloween spirit yet, you can simply leave out the cape and use the pattern to crochet a regular cat! :-)

Coco is a true Frenchwoman – always chic with a Chanel cape and matching bow. You get the pattern for her little brother Jacques for free, too!
Coco and Jacques are surprisingly easy to knit and also a great challenge for somewhat experienced beginners. You'll learn a few additional techniques, but they are quite simple and very useful for later projects as well. The pattern is very detailed, with lots of pictures and step-by-step explanations.

You need any yarn you like (I use merino wool with a yardage of 160 m / 50 g) in white, gray, and shades of pink. You'll also need eyes, a set of double-pointed needles and a size 3 circular needle, as well as stuffing. Needles, scissors, etc. are things you’ll have on hand anyway.

Steffi wishes you lots of fun with the chic Coco

Ariane is the perfect project for anyone who still needs a gift for a new arrival! She knits up quickly and has almost no seams.
I used Noro Silk Garden (the belly is knitted from a light section of the gradient yarn), but for a baby I would recommend a slightly less fuzzy yarn or special baby yarn. You’ll need 1 skein and, if needed, a leftover bit in white or rosé for the belly. Plus safety eyes and stuffing.

Here’s Ariane: Click!

And here’s another cat from cats&hats: Steffi! And the best part: she’s a free download—perfect for giving it a try and seeing if you like my patterns!
For Steffi, you’ll need 1 skein of anthracite-colored 6-ply sock yarn or merino wool (160 m / 50 g), yarn scraps for the hat and scarf, and stuffing.
Have lots of fun—Steffi!

Wow! So many lovely cat patterns! And the best thing is: they don’t shed and don’t even need a litter box! It really does make it hard to choose....
